Musée des beaux-arts de Sherbrooke

Region City
Eastern Townships Sherbrooke
Located in the museum district, in a magnificent heritage building in the heart of downtown Sherbrooke, the Musée des beaux-arts de Sherbrooke is the principal institution for preserving and disseminating visual art in the region since its foundation in 1982. Its mission is to preserve, promote and showcase the extraordinary wealth of the visual arts created in the province of Quebec and the Eastern Townships. In addition to the permanent exhibition “Couleurs Manifestes”, the museum offers each year a number of innovative, bold and varied art shows, often featuring retrospectives of iconic Quebec artists. Its program of cultural mediation allows the general public to learn more about the art world.
