    The Centre d'histoire Arvida offers you a heritage and digital walk through the streets of the famous "City of Aluminum". Founded in 1926 by Arthur Vining Davis, Arvida is one of the city's declared heritage sites. Grab your smart device and set off on a journey of discovery through what was once known as the "Washington of the North"! Witness the different stages in the city's construction.

    From the genesis of the Arvidian project in the early 1920s to its golden age in the 1960s, the permanent exhibition Welcome to Arvida is designed as an encounter. Some will discover a part of history they knew nothing about, while others will have the impression of seeing an old acquaintance or a close friend. After all, Arvida is first and foremost a vibrant community, proud of its heritage.
