Farmland and riverbanks along the Rivière des Mille-Îles: a small part of the countryside found in the city.
These residential areas on the west part of the island are among the greenest in Laval, with about thirty parks as well as farms, flower greenhouses and a beach. According to Saveurs de Laval, the largest number of farm producers is in Sainte-Dorothée. Agritourism is very popular around here.
