Sainte-Flavie to Sainte-Anne-des-Monts

Jardins de Métis – Reford Gardens

These gardens are a plant-lover’s paradise on the shores of the St. Lawrence, with over 3,000 species and varieties of plants in some 15 gardens. The permanent exhibition at Villa Estevan takes us through the life and times of Elsie Reford.

Sainte-Anne-des-Monts to Gaspé

Exploramer

Exploramer is a wharfside complex of activities focused on the marine environment of the St. Lawrence. With an aquarium, touch pools, a museum, sea excursions, and fish harvesting activities, this is the place to discover all the sea has to offer.

Discover the stories of the lighthouse, its keepers, and the operators of the marine radiotelegraph station. Enjoy the enchanting natural landscape of the historic site along with interactive exhibits. There’s even a projection show at night.

Centre socio-culturel Manoir Le Boutillier

Designated a Canadian National Historic Site and classified as a historic monument by the Québec government, this manor house was built around 1850 by John Le Boutillier, a prominent cod merchant from Jersey Island. A tour is given by interpreters dressed in period costume.

Parc national Forillon

Seascapes, cliffs, and mountains give this park its distinctive beauty. Here you can spot seabirds, whales, and seals, and discover the richness of its wildlife and boreal forest. Visitors love the sprawling network of hiking trails and the activities like sea kayaking, biking, and swimming.

Gaspé

Gaspé: where nature is at its purest! It’s home to three world-renowned salmon rivers, and in summer, it’s the place to be for festival-goers, swimmers, boaters, and sports enthusiasts of all stripes. In town, you’ll find lots of accommodations, restaurants, marinas, attractions, and services.

The Gespeg Micmac interpretation site introduces visitors to Micmac life through its interpretation centre, boutique, and faithful recreation of a traditional 17th-century village.

Musée de la Gaspésie

The Musée de la Gaspésie is where you can discover the history of the Gaspé Peninsula, which dates back over 380 million years. There’s a boutique selling regional products, an archive centre, and the publishing house for Magazine Gaspésie.

Percé and Chandler

Parc national de l’île-Bonaventure-et-du-Rocher-Percé

Set off to discover Percé’s rich natural, historical, and geological heritage. Here you can admire rocher Percé and discover the gannet colony on Île Bonaventure—the most accessible in the world, with 15 km of trails and an interpretation program.

This geopark offers geology buffs, adventure lovers, and thrill seekers a unique chance to discover 500 million years of Earth’s history. There are 23 geosites, 18 km of trails, lookouts, and a suspended glass platform perched 200 m above sea level.

The Parc du Bourg de Pabos offers an interpretation centre, multimedia experiences, a virtual reality reconstruction, a campground, a restaurant, hiking trails, a bike path, beaches, a playground, and picnic areas.

Percé to Bonaventure

Site historique national de Paspébiac

The Paspébiac national historic site is the birthplace of two companies: Robin and Le Boutillier Brothers. Learn more about the international cod trade by visiting the 11 historic buildings. Wrap up your visit with a trip to the store, restaurant, promenade, wharf, and beach!

Bioparc de la Gaspésie

The Bioparc de la Gaspésie is home to some forty species of animals native to Québec. As you make your way through the different ecosystems, you’ll get up close and personal with the wildlife. The site also has a small farm, play areas, and a store.

The Musée acadien du Québec offers a wide range of cultural and educational activities to help visitors discover Québec’s rich Acadian heritage. The museum consists of six buildings, all telling a story of the region’s social and economic development.

Bonaventure to Pointe-à-la-Croix

Carleton-sur-Mer

Nestled between sea and mountains, Carleton-sur-Mer offers a diversity of experiences in a town that has long been known as a resort area. Here, you can feast on local produce, climb the summit of Mont Saint-Joseph, hike trails, ride bikes, then finish it off by relaxing at the beach.

Parc national de Miguasha

In addition to being an outstanding natural site, the Parc national de Miguasha is a member of Québec’s park network, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and a home to a world-renowned fossil cliff.

This site brings the last voyage of the frigate Machault to life through the eyes of a period character. Here you can admire the remains of the Machault, an imposing sailing ship. It recounts the last naval battle between France and Great Britain for possession of the North American territory in 1760.

La Route des Belvédères

A drive along the Route des Belvédères is a must. The Deux-Rivières and Cœur des Plateaux lookouts—major attractions in Matapédia-et-les-Plateaux—offer spectacular views of the region’s mountain and river landscapes.
