Located at the foot of Château Frontenac, this district was named after Samuel de Champlain, who founded Québec City in 1608.

Bordered by Cap Diament, its narrow streets are filled with artisan shops and charming restaurants. You can get there by funicular or a steep set of stairs, if you dare. Place Royale, in the centre of the district, features Canada’s oldest church. The area is incredibly romantic!
