Le Musée de l'accordéon

The Accordion Museum houses several treasures that tell the story of this travelling instrument that has coloured the cultural universe of the people of Montmagny for nearly a century. Visitors will find two permanent exhibitions as well as a youth zone.

  • L'Accordéon sous toutes ses notes (The Many Sounds of the Accordion!)
    Launched in 2021, L'accordéon sous toutes ses notes! traces the cultures and musicians who have appropriated the instrument to bring us the diversity of musical genres we know today from the accordion. A children's zone and a digital tour powered by Mysmartjourney are also included in the exhibition.

    The exhibition explores the evolution of the diatonic accordion in Quebec through its factors, dance and family!
