Whether you enjoy dizzying heights or flatter terrain, Lanaudière offers up to 500 km of trails you can explore on snowshoe. Wherever you venture, the landscapes will remain engraved on your memory. Thrill seekers and those looking for stunning images will not be disappointed!

The regional and municipal parks are ideal playgrounds for some snowshoeing fun.

From Parc des Sept-Chutes to the National Trail to Parc Forêt Ouareau, there’s lots to enjoy. You’ll love the trails of powdery snow in Parc du Mont-Tremblant as well as Parc régional de la Chute-à-Bull. In Saint-Côme, a series of waterfalls and cascades can be seen all along Rivière Boule.

Auberge du Lac Taureau

You’ll begin to unwind as soon as you turn onto Chemin de la Baie-du-Milieu, leading to the Auberge du Lac Taureau nestled deep in the woods. Set on the shores of Lac Taureau, this log-structure inn oozes luxurious, rustic charm. More than 30 activities are offered here, including snowmobiling, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing.

The Lac Taureau reservoir covers 90 km2 and includes 45 islands.
