Located in the charming Compton village, 20 km from Sherbrooke, Louis S. St. Laurent National Historic Site recalls the life of the former Prime Minister of Canada (1948-1957) and the history of the Eastern Townships. In the authentic general store held by his father, discover the way of life of the rural people at the turn of the 20th century. Visit his birthplace complete with the family’s possessions. A multimedia show highlights his life and works. Several activities will be presented throughout the summer.
