Our professional guides will introduce you to ice canoeing and take you on a voyage of discovery! In winter, the St. Lawrence River becomes loaded with large slabs of ice, making it a huge playground for ice canoeing. When the river is wet, canoeists use large oars, as in rowing. On the ice, canoeists adopt the "scooter" position. With crampons on their feet, they push the canoe to make it glide over the ice.
