Cathédrale Marie-Reine-du-Monde
Inspired by St. Peter's Basilica in Rome, this Catholic cathedral was built at the end of the 19th century in the heart of what was then the city's Anglo-Protestant sector. Do not miss the superb gilded Baroque Revival baldachin and the paintings illustrating the historic beginnings of Montréal.
