Maison Merry. Lieu de mémoire citoyen de Magog

City
Visit the home of Magog's founders, the Merry family! Exhibitions, activities, events: thanks to its fun, interactive approach, the history of the Townships unfolds before your eyes. One of the region's first settlers in 1799, the Merry family developed Magog's downtown area, starting up the first industries and enabling numerous commercial exchanges thanks to the arrival of the train in town. Purchased in 2008 by the City of Magog, it was awarded a heritage citation in 2009, and since 2018, the public has been able to appreciate its architecture and family heritage year-round.
